New York Declares State of Emergency for Buffalo Area By Snow Storm

November 18, 2014 8:37 PM EST New York Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency Tuesday for several counties in and around Buffalo, where a severe winter storm has already covered parts of the region in over three feet of snow. The National Guard will be deployed to the affected communities to residents dig out, according a statement on the New York State governor’s website. Both have been brought before Justice Akintayo Aluko of a Federal High Court in Lagos State, for allegedly hacking MTN Nigeria Communication Plc’s computers and stealing airtime and data valued at ₦1.9 billion. The defendants, who appeared in court on Tuesday, face four counts related to conspiracy, unauthorised access to the company’s web-based platform known as Application Programming Interface (API), and unlawful conversion.
