February 18, 2016 12:44 PM EST Ryan Reynolds, star of the new Marvel film Deadpool, got dunked for charity on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to raise $25,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which hosts trips and experiences for terminally-ill children. It only took the comedian a few tries before he got dunked in the water tank. The cause is related to his latest role because Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Wilson, is a “former Special Forces operative turned mercenary” who was diagnosed with an incurable cancer after getting engaged to Vanessa (Morena Baccarin).

FIRS gets NASS support to regulate crypto, reenact new tax laws

Senator Muhammed Musa, Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, said this on Saturday at the FIRS 2024 Stakeholders Engagement with the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Finance in Lagos. Musa said the move was important to give the country the right legislation for tax collection and revenue generation.
